Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.
Zonta's History
The word “Zonta” is a Lakota Sioux Indian word meaning “honest and trustworthy”. Zonta's first club was chartered in 1919 in Buffalo, New York. Zonta International has over 30,000 members in 1,200 clubs in 67 countries around the world.
Mission and Vision of Zonta International
Zontians all over the world volunteer their time and talents to support to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship programs aimed at fulfilling Zonta's objectives:
- To improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women at the global and local level through service and advocacy
- To work for the advancement of understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of members.
- To promote justice and universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
- To be united internationally to foster high ethical standards, to implement service programs, and to provide mutual support and fellowship for members who serve their communities, their nations and the world.
Zonta International Foundation For Women
Since 1923, Zonta International has provided millions of US$ to empower women and girls and expand their access to education, health care, economic opportunities and safe living conditions. Through donations to the Zonta Foundation for Women, Zonta improves women's lives, their children's lives and the communities in which they live and work.

Every Member Every November District Challenge
Welcome in District 30, Zonta Club of Macedonia-Skopie!
With Zonta Club of Macedonia-Skopie, we officially have a new club and a NEW country in our District 30!
Governor Fabienne Moulin warmly welcomes the new Zontians and is excited about the new connections to Macedonia.
Zonta Club of Macedonia-Skopie has become a club of Zonta International as of 22 September 2020, and has been assigned the club number: 1999.
Candidate for the Jane Klausmann Women in Business Scholarship 2020 nominated
The D30 2020-2022 Jury, under the direction of Chair Donka Petkova, has chosen the candidate for the Jane Klausmann Women in Business Scholarship 2020.
The 2020-2021 awardee is :

presently persuing her studies in Masters Degree in Management in Supply Chain and Purchase at Montpellier Business School.
