September 23th was dedicated to the activities of Zonta District 30, featuring crucial motions pertaining to the future of the clubs. The day involved an assessment of projects developed over the past Zonta year to promote gender equality in the various countries participating in the conference and globally. The focus was also on the objectives and strategies that will engage the clubs in the 2023-2030 period.
The new board of District 30 was elected, including the future Governor Yana Yaneva-Gencheva (Zonta Club Burgas), Lieutenant Governor Carmen Nerding (Zonta Club Karlsruhe), Luciana Adriano (Zonta Club Alba Langhe Roero), auditors Danielle Heredia (Zonta Club Nimes Romaine) and Heike Liebe (Zonta Club Oberschwaben), and members of the nominating committee Annette Di Rosa (Zonta Club Lausanne), Nadia Garis (Zonta Club Torino), and Rozalina Nikolova Kreissl (Zonta Club Saint Sofia).
The day concluded with a Gala dinner at Roberto Sarotto’s Cantina in Neviglie, featuring wine generously provided by him and Anna Ghione’s vineyards. The members also participated in a lottery to raise funds for women victims of violence and Zonta Foundation’s global projects.
